A learning society must be built region by region, city by city, community by community.
The Start Learning Cities Up project aims to create an international hub between Friuli Venezia Giulia and Israel to promote the Learning City/Region concept. This is through the exchange of best practices, innovations in learning, and strengthening cooperation and intercultural dialogue.
Best practices are projects that stand out for their effectiveness, efficiency, replicability, quality and success, guided by past experience and results. They serve as benchmarks for adapting Learning City principles in various contexts.
By defining a Learning City as an entity that values lifelong learning for sustainable social, economic, and environmental development, it is vital to raising civic awareness and fostering a transition to more resilient societies.
